Postage:

8€ up to 10kg in the Netherlands. We Do Not take any responsibility for breakages.

 

Gift Vouchers:

All gift vouchers are non-refundable and valid for 6 months from date of issue. In unforeseen circumstances, vouchers can be transferred to a friend or family member. Coffee & Tea is included in price.

Please send us an email asap to arrange a date. 

 

Deposit:

50% deposit needs to be paid as soon a you confirm and book a workshop/course and date. We will send the 50% deposit invoice via email. Only when paid will your date and time be reserved. 

 

Cancellations:

• If you cancel on the day of the workshop/course, or a no show, you will be charged the full amount.
  

• If you are unable to attend your workshop and there is more than 30 days to go, we can provide you with a full refund. We then charge a 10% administration fee on the total booking.
•  If you have to cancel within 16 days of your workshop/course we are unable to offer you a refund for your 50% reservation fee.
  However, in the event of unforeseen circumstances we are happy for another family members or friends to attend in your place. Or if possible to move your workshop to a different date, this is not always possible.
  
• If you cancel on the day of the workshop/course, you will be charged the full amount.
• If Clay Cafe NL has to cancel a workshop/course, you will be offered an alternative date, or money back.
• We cannot accept liability for travel, accommodation or other costs.

 

Ceramics in handwork. If due to airbubbels in clay (we will explain it in workshop) or that you do not follow our instruction for attaching pieces (krasje-papje) your work can explode or pull lose during firing in the kiln, causing tearing. We know approximately how your work will look with glazing but, during firing/glaze firing it could turn out a bit different.  

 

Coffee and Tea is included in workshop.  The bisque firing and glaze firing is included in the workshop. If you work is larger then the agreed size. You will have to pay for the use of more clay and firing costs. We have set studio glazes and you can choose from. If you would like a different glaze, you will have to pay the cost for ordering this glaze and we do not take responsibility for the result. For the wheelthrowing workshop we only use underglazes and transparent glaze.  

 

Studio huisregels: 

Altijd jouw werkplaats, gereedschap, draaischijf enz schoon en netjes achterlaten. We bespreken met iedereen die een cursus/vaste les volg in ons studio de huisregels. Veranderingen in de huisregels zullen doorgegeven worden tijdens cursus dagen. Het gaat hierbij vooral om gebruiken rondom veiligheid en het delen van de ruimte.  Als de huisregels na meerdere keren vragen, niet gevolgd worden kunnen we jou de toegang tot het atelier ontzeggen. Als er schade is opgetreden kan die verhaald worden op de curusist/vaste student.

 

Glazuren van werk:  

Om onze ovens te beschermen en ovenplaten langer mee te laten gaan stoken wij niet als:  je werk te dik geglazuurd is de onderkant niet schoon is van glazuur en anders er geen vrije rand zit tussen eind glazuur en onderkant werk (hou plus minus 0,5 mm aan)

 

Klei:

Cursus & Vaste Lessen wordt met steengoed gewerkt.
